Members are reminded of their responsibility, under Paragraph 11 of the Members’ Code of Conduct, to declare the existence and nature of any personal interest in respect of any of the business to be transacted at this meeting

Minutes:

The Member was reminded of his responsibility, under Paragraph 11 of the Members’ Code of Conduct, to declare any interests in relation to any of the business to be transacted at this meeting.  The following declaration was made:

Councillor Mark Pritchard – Personal and Prejudicial – a potential beneficiary.

The Councillor remained in the meeting and claimed an exemption under Paragraph 12(2) of the Members’ Code of Conduct.

Members' Remuneration - Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales pdf icon PDF 110 KB

To consider the attached report

Minutes:

The Head of Corporate and Customer Services submitted a report (HCCS/67/18) to consider a proposed response to the consultation on the draft Annual Report of the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales in order to submit a response to the consultation no later than 7 December 2018. 

 

RESOLVED –

 

 

(i)         That the proposed response, attached as Appendix 1 to report HCCS/67/18 be agreed for submission to the Independent Remuneration Panel on behalf of the local authority.

 

(ii)        That Officers be authorised to deal with the matter as an urgent item of business in accordance with Standing Order 43(1) of the Council’s Standing Orders.

 

Reason for Decision

 

To participate in the consultation process by providing a response to the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales by 7 December 2018.
